Secretary of State John Kerry’s comment about Israel being an apartheid state is spot on. With the piece process in dire straits because of grandstanding and dismissive policies of a state that has the reminiscent nature of the past colonial nations. His comment is anything but fact. What Kerry has done is nothing more than say openly what many are saying privately. Israel has in today’s account has the most number of war related atrocities which are borderline genocide. Any UN sanction against such a nation is seen as nothing but a slap on the wrist and is vetoed by the US. They do not follow international laws and has violated Palestinian territorial rights by building on occupied territory which under law belong to Palestine. They have even denounced Palestine’s unity government which has been formed for peaceful purposes. Such tactics are proof of Israels colonial mindset. I for one praise Kerry for having the guts say it out loud. Unfortunately for him the Israel lobby is too powerful. This is unfortunate for the world as a whole.
